Our partner school International House Belfast is well located in the city’s university district, surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shops. Here, the students at International House can practice their English and familiarize themselves with the Irish culture.
The school was founded in 2007 and has been welcoming students since, to its modern yet comfortable school. The school is recognized to be one of the leading English Language and Teacher Training Institutes in Northern Ireland. The school is also a certified Cambridge testing center.
International House is housed in a Victorian-era building, with classrooms spread across four floors and the classrooms on the last floor have a spectacular view of Belfast.
The activities program organized by the team is varied and engaging opportunity for students to practice their English with their classmates, taking part in activities such as visits to museums, the botanic gardens, Irish dancing, and bowling. Students can participate in these at a reduced price or some are even included in the course programs. There is also the opportunity to visit sites further afield in Ireland on weekends with school organized trips.
All professors hold a university degree and a CELTA qualification (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults.)
