Learn Spanish in Panama

Study Spanish in Panama, known for its stunning scenery, impressive biodiversity and delicious coffee.

Panama is a natural Paradise with idyllic deserted Caribbean islands, incredible wildlife (both underwater and on land) and magnificent rainforests. Here, the sea is a dazzling turquoise and the sand is white, just how paradise is pictured on postcards! This makes Panama a fantastic spot for outdoor lovers and adventure sport enthusiasts – from snorkeling, trekking and sailing, to zip lining, surfing and scuba diving, there are plenty of ways to explore the country's impressive landscapes. Panama also contains one of the planet's most bio-diverse spots; in the jungles of the Darién Province you can find a whole range of amazing animals including jaguars, macaws, tropical frogs, bush dogs, and many endangered species.

However, Panama is so much more than just stunning scenery. Its capital, Panama City, is a sophisticated and cultured modern cosmopolitan city, whilst Boquete has become famous for producing some of the world’s best coffee. Despite modernization in the capital, there are still many indigenous tribes living in the regions whose traditional lifestyle had remained largely unchanged over the years.

Food in Panama combines influences from Africa, Spain and the Caribbean, with seafood, coconut, corn, plantain and tropical fruits being the main ingredients. Some of the most common meals include Cancocho (a meat and vegetable stew), Carimanola (fried yucca stuffed with meat and boiled eggs), and Tamales (boiled corn dough stuff with meat and served in plantain leaves).
